Disk space is the size on disk used by your website, or available to be used by your website. Information on your website has to be stored somewhere on our servers, and although HTML pages are usually very small, extra images, scripts, and perhaps databases can also take up space just as they do on your PC.

Bandwidth, or "transfer" is the amount of data the server will allow your site to send in a month. When a visitor types in your domain name or clicks to a page on your site, some data gets sent from the host computer, to that visitor. This transfer is usually measured in gigabytes per month and at WDot you get at least 2 (and up to 5) gigabytes of transfer per month included in all plans - with more available by arrangement.
